Time of death – 8:43pm Friday, March 10th. Well, it was at least a decent attempt at another round of Whole30. But Friday night, hunger, sleep deprivation (due to a 7 month old) got the better of us and we fell off the wagon. I won’t go into all the delicious details for those of you that might still be attempting a Whole30, but let’s just say it involved taco shells made of Doritos.

Oof. Ok, so last week was kind of a mess with the meal planning. I ended up giving myself way too much to do – trying to cook at least one (and sometimes two) new recipes in one evening after 7pm. Tried something different this week and kept everything really loose.

Alright, so cooking all of the things, taking care of a 7 month old during the evenings, working, and writing a daily blog surprisingly didn’t pan out all that well. Let’s just do weekly recaps, shall we? (you can catch up on my day 1 and day 2 in my previous posts)
Day 2 of Whole30
Day 1 was a success – I didn’t eat any peanut butter. Today was also a win.
Had the same breakfast as yesterday – Brussels Sprouts Sweet Potato Sausage Hash. Still pretty tasty. This recipe will definitely stay in the rotation for the month, but we’ll be switching it up tomorrow.
(Another) Day 1 of Whole30
My wife and I started our 2nd (not consecutive) round of Whole30 today, and I’m hungry. She’s hungry. I spent the weekend meal planning, shopping, and cooking our first few meals for the week, but I had forgotten how much food you need to eat on this diet (lifestyle change?) to stay full.
